1. In a small bowl, add 1/4 cup milk and 2 pinches of saffron strands. Mix well with a spoon. Refrigerate the milk for 30 minutes.

2. In a pan, add 2 tablespoons of melted ghee and 1/2 cup milk. Stir the mixture for a while.

3. Add 1 cup of milk powder. Cook on medium flame and stir continuously for 5 minutes.

4. Add saffron milk and 1/8 cup sugar-free to the pan. Mix all ingredients together.

5. Add 1 tablespoon chopped pistachio and 1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder. Spread the mixture evenly on the pan and let it cool for 15 minutes.

6. Once the mixture is cool, make a dough ball from it. Grease a plate with 1 tablespoon of ghee. Apply the ghee to the modak mould and your hands, too.

7. Take a small portion of dough and fill the mould from behind. Apply enough pressure to set the mixture evenly in the mould.

8. Once all the holes are filled with the dough, gently open the mould and remove the modaks carefully. If the dough is too soft to mould, you can refrigerate it for 30 minutes. Repeat the process for all modaks.
