How to make the Chakli dough
1. In a bowl, take 1 cup of gram flour, 3 cups of rice flour, 1 teaspoon chilli powder and 1/2 teaspoon carom seeds.

2. Add 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds, 1 teaspoon sesame seeds, 1 pinch of Asafoetida and 1 teaspoon salt.

3. Add 2 tablespoons softened butter and 1 cup hot water. Mix well with a spoon. Cover and rest for 5 minutes.

4. Remove the lid after 5 minutes and add upto 1 cup water to knead the dough. Knead a smooth dough to make crunchy chaklis.

How to make the Chaklis
1. Put a butter paper on plate. Roll the dough into a cylindrical shape and put the dough in a chakli mould.

2. Put the pressure on mould and move in a circle and stick the end with a finger. Mould all chaklis in the same way.

How to Fry the Chaklis
1. Check the oil temperature with a small ball. The oil is ready once the ball floats.

2. Add 2 chaklis at a time. Fry on medium flame. Flip in between and fry until golden brown.

3. Your delicious Rice Flour Chakli is ready!
